MODERN RAILWAYS 2025 sets up two exhibition zones, namely the indoor and outdoor. The indoor exhibition zone, which is located in China National Convention Center, covers an area of 40,000 square meters. It encompasses 16 major themed display zones and 10 Major Product, Technology or Service Division, exhibiting the latest technologies and products in all railway specialties. The outdoor exhibition zone, situated in the National Railway Track Testing Center, has a real vehicle display line stretching 5,500 meters. It mainly showcases real vehicles like EMUs (intelligent EMUs), locomotives, high-speed comprehensive inspection trains, and large-scale track maintenance machinery.
